The Online users list will display all users (except yourself) that are currently online on the same platform. From here you can also contact them (ping them).
Ping
If you want to contact another user, just click on "ping" next to his name. A small pop-up window will open, and you can post your message and send it. The next time this user performs an action on his platform (e.g. click on a link), the message appears on his screen.
The recipient can directly reply to your message ("reply").
