Definition "High Potential"
We strongly want to emphasize the difference between our definition of
High Potentials and empirical-analytical calculations. The biggest difference
occurs in the interpretation of the notion "high potential" because we
are not strictly determining that this potential already has to be totally
developed to classify young people with this category.
Usually, our members come from pre-selected channels (competitions, projects
etc.) that distinguish our members through motivation and achievements.
Particularly, young people with a strong desire for success and challenge
as well as an international approach are invited to membership by the
High Potential Network.
We are attaching great importance to an individual point of view of every
single person, based on differences in culture and education-specific
backgrounds. Already at this early stage of the network, we have members
from more than 40 different countries!
Nevertheless, the application runs through a selection-scheme. Basically,
the following areas are considered before approving the application: |
achievements at school, university |
non-formal education |
extra-curricular activities |
international experience |
additional qualifications |
