The latest events at the building site of the heating pipeline north-west get reported using weblogs.
The idea for the weblog of the Fernwärme Wien was developed in the context of the "Research laboratory for public relation" seminar at the University of Vienna. Factline Webservices Ltd developed the technical implementation through a new FCS service. Thus the weblog is a service for the Fernwärme Wien and at the same time a scientific-oriented project. The new service will be tested for it's usefulness as a PR-tool in this branch.
The goal is to produce a fast, simple and cost-efficient information source about the construction site of the Fernwärme Wien at the Adalbert-Stifter-Straße.
The construction site of the heating pipeline north-west belongs to the new main transporting pipeline of the Fernwärme Wien. Through the main heat transporting pipeline "north-west" the heating supply for the 20th and 21st district will be guaranteed. Completion is planned for April 2005.
