Within the series of conferences of all the POSEIDON partner areas involved, the Final Conference in Vienna will be held on November 14, 2006 at the premises of a revitalized industrial loft from the 19th century.

The programme will cover a wide range of neighbourhood management topics dealt with since 2004. Presentations will include a draft of the project's final publication - a Neighbourhood Management Guide - and pilot project activities carried out in Vienna. International information booths will provide material on policies and activities of POSEIDON partner regions. Special workshops will be arranged to link the topicality of POSEIDON to current activities in urban renewal activities in Vienna, in particular innovative approaches to the development of neglected shopping streets, and measures and tools for improving neighbourhood relations in public housing estates.

A special highlight will be the preview of the POSEIDON video, which will be officially presented in the context of the Final Conference in Brussels at the European Parliament on November 30, 2006.
