Click on “more options” to display the complete search user interface. Then you have the following possibilities to specify your search:

-) enter one or more keywords
-) choose a fact type: e.g. if you are only searching for a text or download fact
-) field choice: should the keyword be searched for in all fields of the fact, or only in the title or author fields?
-) period of publication
-) display only your own facts
-) display either published, unpublished facts or hidden facts

If you have chosen News, Events, Links or Library as a fact type:
-) choose filtertypes (for example – news filter)

With the small checkbox in the right corner you can save a specific search query as standard. Afterwards this query will always be displayed when you open the search user interface.
