I. Major for Users / Clients visible changes (must inform client + must be documented):

(1) fact referers - who is linking to me?
In the metainformation below the fact, there is a new group called "Referers" - there all facts that are linking to the fact you are currently viewing are listed. This was made possible by a major database optimisation to our FCS database where we store in a much more convenient way all factlinks, factinludes and factimages.

(2) read statistics in the metainfo - new design and layout, list exact users who read the fact
The fact read statistics that are shown in the metainformation below the fact (when the option is enabled in padmin), have been redesigned and greately optimisied. Their interfaces are interactive, and in addition if you have the proper permissions (set in padmin), you can list all unique users who have read the fact, with the time when they did.

(3) structure lists - new columns and options are now available
The padmin can configure now the structure lists with much more options. The new columns "filesize", "count comments", "shortname" and "filename" are available now. You can now also choose an icon (from a platform image) as a column heading if you want.

(3) padmin - mandatory permissions interfaces - redone, more intuitive and interactive
The mandatory permission configuration interfaces in padmin have been redone - selecting which groups are affected is now more intuitive, and there is a checkbox "Everyone", which clearly shows what is needed if the administrator wants that everyone is affected by the mandatory permission settings.

(4) version history diff - tidy engine + new icons and interface improvements
Our Diff function in the version history (Archiv) was optimised - the engine for cleaning up the code is now using a more advanced technology. In addition to that the design has been changed to improve the look and feel.

(5) multiple image upload in structure with a zip file - filenames kept, order correct
Uploading slides via structure to the system is much easier now. Whatever filenames you put in the ZIP, they will be used as the fact titles after the upload, and the sorting will be then by filename.

(6) all boxes can be hidden now, no matter if they are required by the system or not.
In the padmin define boxes, it is now possible to hide any box, even if it is a box that the system normally has as required (e.g. filter, view, settings...).

II. Other visible changes (might need to be documented, or not):

(1) form2 - permissions layer - current user (the publisher) is displayed with checkboxes
(2) padmin and sadmin now have a custom favicon (factline specific)
(3) browse images redone and redesigned! (e.g. settings - link next to image input)
(4) fastlink - possible to enter an ID, select it, control-L -> factlink to that ID is created
(5) Users: firstname and lastname can contain a dash "-" now.

III. Techical non-client-affeecting changes (no specific order):

(1) optimisations to platform ID retreival
(2) favicon.ico headers optimisation
(3) removing vsrious unused modules and debug
(4) boxes link CSS can be customised now using stylesheets
(5) fixes to domain resolution to forumid; IP redirect to default hostname
(6) quote_varchar and postgresql 8.3 fixes in several places (N')
(7) notification fix when dialog is not available as a service
(8) pdfdownload fixes, apache2 headers etc.
(9) connection: close in all ajax request (attempt to fix IO problem)
(10) structure optimisation feature - enabled always by default
(11) several optimisiations to the error handling and debug emails sent to development
(12) fixed pathline form multiple shortcut creation to send to a friend
(13) in search - tags are encoded when sent to the database (e.g. no DB errors on quotes)
(14) tagcloud tag accepts .0 veresion
(15) other various apache2 compaitability changes
(16) temporary useres not searchable via padmin. sadmin - cannot set temp users as padmins
(17) temporary uses - profile page, other fixes
(18) the big notification fixes - when no permission it works, hidden shown at bottom, etc.
(19) epoz and facttext removed from settings (finally!)
(20) rss now working again, several several fixes (also apache2 related).
(21) show shortcuts in metainfo - translations for the folders
(22) fact includes - allowed more mason component depth (15->25), so deeper includes in includes possible
(23) doubleicon implementation (so the creation interface looks nicer)
(24) section edit - more icons in the overlay edit controls
(25) unicode filenames finally fixed!! (re: hoppe)
(26) several fixes to the file download and headers (unicode related)
(27) padmin fix users and groups big table (username headers were wrong)
